Rowena Vogel, 89, Napoleon, died early Friday morning in Defiance Hospital.
Born in Napoleon on Nov. 28, 1899, she was the daughter of Slater and Susan (Rausch) Travis. On June 28, 1919, she married Robert McCabe who preceded her in death on May 15, 1953. She then married Harry Vogel on Jan. 25, 1955, and he preceded her in death on June 18, 1982.
Vogel was a former waitress with the Wellington Hotel and was a member of Liberty Center’s United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are a son, Keith McCabe of Delta; a daughter, Bernadine Kern of Marysville, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Lula McCabe of Napoleon; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Kenneth McCabe, and a grandson.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Rev. William Goff officiating. Interment will be in Youngs Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, where a Rebekah Lodge memorial service will take place at 7:30 p.m.
