Esther Viers, 83, Napoleon, died Tuesday morning in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Toledo.
She was born February 1, 1895, in McClure, to Rush E. Croninger and Mellie E. Foltz. She married Ezrom Viers in 1913, and he preceded her in death on August 19, 1965.
She was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women of the Church, Liberty Center Order of the Eastern Star, a past-matron of the Eastern Stars and a former member of the Republican Central Committee.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Raymond C. (Elizabeth) Henning, Bakersfield, California; a brother, Paul Croninger, Huntington, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Croll-Wright Funeral Home in Liberty Center on Wednesday after 2 p.m.
Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Reverend McClellan R. Nicholson, Liberty Center United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Youngs Cemetery.
Eastern Star services will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Heart Association of the church building fund.
