LIBERTY CENTER — Archie F. Thomas, 87, died Sunday in the Moose Haven home at Orange Park, Fla.
He was a former resident of Liberty Center, spending most of his life in Henry County before being sent to Moose Haven under sponsorship of the Napoleon Moose Lodge two years ago. He was a retired employee of the Lakeshore and D. T. & I. railroad. He was a member of the Moose Lodge for 52 years.
Surviving are three sons, Frank A., of San Pedro, California; Henry E., South Gate, Calif., and Cyrus S., Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. E. B. Thornburg, Brownsburg, Ind., and Mrs. Leonard White, Plainfield, Ind., and nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be services by the Moose at 8 P.M. Monday, in the Walker Mortuary, where friends may call from 7 until 9 P.M.
Funeral services will be held in the mortuary at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Howard Spitnale, of St. Paul Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
