Paul E. Tester, 70, of 17291 St. Rt. 2, Wauseon, died Sunday in his home after a long illness.
Born in Liberty Center on July 31, 1918, Mr. Tester was the son of Leo and Irene (Schall) Tester.
Mr. Tester lived in Wauseon many years and was a retired core maker for the Wauseon Foundry.
He was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church, Wauseon, the Allied Molders Union, and the Wauseon Elks Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; sons, John, of Wauseon, and SMS William Tester, U.S Air Force, Holland, Netherlands; daughter, Mrs. Susan Bruns, of Defiance; stepsons, Bradley Miller, of Delta, and Brian Miller, of Toledo; stepdaughter, Mrs. Kaylin Flory, of Wauseon; brother, Leo Tester, Jr., of Scottsdale, Ariz., and 14 grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the church, with the Rev. Walter J. Baese officiating. The family requests that memorials be to the Northwest Ohio Nurses Association. Arrangements were by the Edgar Funeral Home, Wauseon.
