Sarah Ann Eisfelder was born in Stark County, Ohio, August 12, 1832, and died at Liberty Center, Ohio, October 21, 1911, aged 78 years, two months and 19 days. She was united in marriage to Hiram Teel in 1854. Then having moved to Seneca County, from which place with her husband she moved to Liberty Center in 1868, we’re she lived to the day of her death. Three children came into the home, all of whom are still living.
Sister Teel was catechized and confirmed in the reformed church when a small child and has lived a Christian life for 65 years. She was received into this congregation by letter from her home church April 30, 1871, and through these 38 years of christian life has proven what it means to be a child of God. She leaves an aged husband, who three years ago was received a member of this congregation, two daughters and one son. Also many other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. We weep, but not as those who have no hope, for the Revelator says: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, yay sayeth the Spirit for they rest from their labors and their works do follow them.’
Funeral services were held from the Reformed Church at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. H. Albright.
