Edna Collins Teel was born in Chatuaguay, N. Y., Sept. 19, 1863 and died at her home in Toledo, O., December 8, 1917, aged 54 years 2 months and 20 days.
She was married to George W. Teel at Janesville, Wis., July 19, 1893 and shortly after their marriage the couple came to Liberty Center and made their home here until about fifteen years ago, when they moved to Toledo, where they have since resided.
The remains were brought to Liberty Center Tuesday evening and taken to the home of Hiram Teel, where the funeral services were held on Wednesday, conducted by Rev. D. E. Martz, after which the body was laid to rest in Young’s cemetery.
In her early life Mrs. Teel was converted in and joined the M. E. church. She lived a noble consistent life and thus won many devoted friends. She is survived by her sorrowing husband, one son and a brother and sister.
