Harold C. Sonnenberg, 44, suffered a fatal heart attack Wednesday of last week at his farm home four miles northeast of Liberty Center.
Mr. Sonnenberg was born near Napoleon April 12, 1918, the son of August and Sophia (nee Vajen) Sonnenberg. He was a lifelong resident of this area and the family had lived on their farm in Swan Creek Township in Fulton County for the past seven years.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; four children, Ervin, Leroy, Marilyn and Harold, Jr., all at home; four brothers, Louis, Albert and Paul of Napoleon and August of Wauseon; and four sisters, Alta of Napoleon, Mrs. Lavina Lienau of Ridgeville Corners, Mrs. Martha Nagel of Okolona and Mrs. Hildegarde Weaver of Mishawaka, Ind.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. A. W. Roegge at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center. The Wesche Funeral Home was in charge.
