Gilford Slee Services Held Last Friday

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Penrod Mortuary, Delta, for Gilford Slee, 47, who died Tuesday in Detwiler Hospital, Wauseon. Interment was made in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.

Mr. Slee was a native of Liberty Center and had lived in the Delta area for 52 years. He was a machineist at the DeVilbiss Co., Toledo. He was a member of the Shiloh Christian Union Church.

During World War II he served with the armed forces and was a prisoner of war in Germany.

Surviving are his Wife, Doris; daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Roseman, Delta; Norma Jean and Diane Lynn, both at home; mother, Mrs. Druscilla Slee, Liberty Center; brothers, Alonzo, Delta; Homer, Liberty Center; Dale, at home; Charles, Napoleon, and two grandchildren.
