Charley Carl Slee, son of Francis and Asenath Slee, was born in Henry county, O., April 2, 1874, and departed this life at Detwiler hospital in Wauseon, Sept. 26, 1950, at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 24 days.

At the age or ten years he moved with his parents into Fulton county, where he spent the remaining years of his life.

He was united in marriage to Druscilla Frankfather Nov. 26, 1903. To this union were born four daughters and five sons, the daughters and one son having preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn, his wife,, Druscilla; Alonzo, of Delta; Gilford, of Swanton; Homer, of Liberty Center, and Charles, of Colton; a son-in-law, John Perl, of Swanton; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Adeline Fredrick, of Neapolis; brother, James, of Waterville, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was a kind and loving husband and father and a good neighbor, always willing to lend a hand in time of need. He will be greatly missed by all.
