The body of William Shoemaker was found last Thursday about 4:30 p.m. by Dewey and Gerald Spiess.
He was found in a field on his farm. The time of death was estimated to have been around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, and the probable cause was a heart attack.
He is survived by a brother, Leonard of Liberty, and by two sisters — Mrs. Guy Carpenter of Toledo, and Mrs. Merlin Heckler of Liberty.
The Reverend Donel Fredrick presided at the services which were last Monday at Walker's Mortuary in Napoleon. He was buried in Young's Cemetery in Liberty.

William I. Shoemaker, son of George W. and Clara Pontious Shoemaker, was born July 7, 1894 in York Township, Fulton County, O., and passed away March 29, 1961, at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 22 days, at his home in Liberty Township, Henry County, where he spent his entire life, and lived alone since the passing of his brother, Lawrence A. Shoemaker, Dec. 8, 1960.
He was a kind and loving brother, a helpful neighbor and a friend to all.
He leaves to mourn his passing: one brother, Leonard Shoemaker of Liberty Center, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith C. Carpenter of Toledo, Mrs. Maude Mae Heckler of Liberty Center, one nephew, Delbert Shoemaker of Liberty Center, seven nieces, Mrs. Vera Kamm, Mrs. Grace Kamm of Toledo, Mrs. Jessie Cocke of Napoleon, Mrs. Merlin Leatherman of Delta, Mrs. Joyce Sherman of Wauseon, Mrs. Alice Sosbe of Antwerp, Mrs. Marilyn Tallman of Liberty Center, and a host of relatives and friends.
