Margie L. Schock, 88, died Monday, May 29 at Northcrest Nursing home in Napoleon where she had been since April of 1977. She had resided at 725 East Street in Liberty Center for many years. She was born June 8, 1889 in Henry county. Her father was David Clifton. She married Edward Shock and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Shock was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, Union Rebekah Lodge 273 and the Pythian Sisters.
Surviving are one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Shock, Wauseon, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Lynn (Rheta) Weber, Pettisville, and Mrs. Marilyn Canitia, Parma. Four great-grandchildren also survive. A son, Lawson, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Croll-Wright funeral home in Liberty Center. Rev. McClellen Nicholson officiated. Burial was in Young cemetery.
