Homer L. Sharp, 94, Route 1, Liberty Center, died Saturday morning at Northcrest Nursing Home, in Napoleon.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1892, in Washington Township, Henry County, to Charles and Sarah (Schwanger) Sharp. On Feb. 15, 1913, he married Helen Overmier, and she preceded him in death on June 28, 1970. He was a farmer all his life and a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are two sons, Dale and Lawrence of Liberty Center; one sister, Grace Daum of Liberty Center; four grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Warren, and a granddaughter.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Rev. Isaac Johnston of Colton United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the funeral a home after 2 p.m. today. The family suggests memorials be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
