Daniel Sharp was born in Seneca County, February 27, 1851, where he lived until nine years of age. He then came with his parents to Henry County, Ohio, where he remained the rest of his days. On February 24, 1911, he passed away at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 24 days.
In 1875 he was united in marriage to Ella Alleman. To this union was born one daughter. On April 13, 1890 he was united in marriage to Florence Weaver. To this union were born five children: three daughters and two sons.
He leaves to mourn his lost his beloved wife, six children, one stepson, four sons-in-law, six grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters and a host of friends. One sister, father and mother preceded him to the happy beyond.
In 1902 he joined the United Brethren church and remained a faithful christian until the time of his death. He has been a loving husband and father and is now at rest with Jesus where there will be no more suffering.
Funeral services were held at the Reformed church, Sunday, February 26th, at 2 p.m. Rev. W. H. Baker, of McClure conducted the services. Interment in Young’s Cemetery.
