Obituary
Clarence Seymour, aged 37 yeas, of Liberty Center, was instantly killled last Thursday afternoon at Ridgeville Corners during the wind storm that swept over this section.
Seymour was employed as driver of a truck for the Ohio Poultry Producers Co-operative Co., at Wauseon, and was making his regular collection from the stores at Ridgeville. Coming out of Fred Otte & Sons store with a crate of eggs, a piece of the concrete coping on the top of the building became loosened by the wind and fell, striking the unfortunate man on the head, fracturing his skull and breaking his neck.
There was no unusually heavy wind blowing at the time and it is believed the piece of coping had become loosened by the freezing and thawing of the Winter and was disiodged when a gust of wind struck it. Several men were standing near where the coping struck and narrowly escaped injury.
Mr. Seymour was buried at Liberty Center Sunday. He leaves a wife and three children.
