Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 in the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Napoleon for Pearl L. Seitz, 65, Liberty Center postmaster, who died suddenly in Napoleon Hospital early Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Seitz injured her shoulder Saturday evening in a fall while working in her basement. She was taken to the hospital for X-rays and observation on Monday.
Apparently in no danger, she collapsed in the hospital hall Tuesday evening and passed away.
Mrs. Seitz served Liberty Center as postmaster for nearly 23 years. She took over her post office job in 1934.
Prior to that time she had been engaged in the real estate business with her husband, the late Frank P. Seitz, who preceded her In death in 1944.
She also taught school in Jewell, O., and in the Liberty Center schools.
The body is in the Wesche Funeral Home in Napoleon and friends may call today and this evening. The Rosary will be spoken at 8:30 Thursday evening. Father Leo C. Mahlmeister will be in charge of services and burial will be in Young's Cemetery in Liberty Center.
Mrs. Seitz is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Loretta Rhyan, 1122 Ormsby St., Columbus, O.
The post office will be closed from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday in memoriam. The lobby will remain open.

Pearl L. Seitz passed away at Heller Memorial Hospital in Napoleon Tuesday, Sept. 25, 1956.
Born Aug. 16, 1891, she was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson of Liberty Center, O.
She was a former school teacher and was associated in early years with her husband, the late Frank P Seitz, in the real estate business.
She became postmaster of Liberty Center in 1934 and was completing her twenty-second year in that capacity.
She was a member of the National Postmasters Association, Ohio Federation of Postmasters, and the Napoleon chapter, of the Soroptimists.
She leaves to mourn her departure one daughter, Mrs. George Rhyan, of Columbus, O.
The Rosary was recited Thursday evening in the Wesche Funeral Home in Napoleon.
Services were conducted Friday morning by Father Leo C. Mahlmeister and burial was in Young’s Cemetery, Liberty Center.
