John Jacob Saul was the son of William and Christina Saul and was born in Damascus Township June 2, 1873, and died at his home in Liberty Center at the age of 50 years, 9 months and 19 days. He was united in marriage with Sadie E. Mohler Dec. 28, 1894, and to this union were born three sons and nine daughters, all living at the time of his death, as was his wife.
