Harold J. Saul, 63, Route 1, Liberty Center, died suddenly Saturday p.m. The deceased was employed as a real estate broker and auctioneer.
Born in Deshler August 16,1907, he was the son of J. J. and Sarah (Mohler) Saul. He was a member of the Liberty Center Masonic Lodge No. 518, Pacific Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, Liberty Center, Scottish Rite Valley, Toledo, and served as the Past Noble Grand of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 409, Texas.
The deceased was preceded in death by one brother, Vane, February 1971.
Survivors are his wife Beatrice; three sons, Duane H., James J., and Eldon L. all of Liberty Center; two daughters, Mrs. Everette (Lavora) Johnson and Mrs. Gene (Louise) Cordes both of Napoleon; seven sisters Mrs. Reuben (Ethel) Whitmire, Delta, Mrs. Dale (Bertha) Spiess, Delta, Mrs. William (Edrie) Smith, Sandusky, Mrs. Howard (Frances) Strayer, Neapolis, Mrs. Harold (Edith) Studer, Tavares, Florida, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Hollinger, Delta, Mrs. Charles (Tillie) Starkey, Liberty Center; and nine grandchildren.
Masonic Memorial Service will be held at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, 7:30p.m., Monday. Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday. Odd Fellow Memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Walker Mortuary Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Joseph Burnett, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Liberty Center, officiating. Burial will be in the Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at Walker Mortuary Monday from 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9.
