George Marion Saul, son of William and Christina Saul, was born in Seneca county, O., on April 11, 1869. Here he resided until his young manhood, when, with his family, he moved to Henry county, where he lived the remainder of his life.

On Aug. 21, 1892, he was united in marriage to Nettie Elizabeth Mohler and to this union were born nine children, three daughters and six sons. His wife preceded him in death on Nov. 13, 1921.

On Sept. 25, 1935, he was again united in marriage to Laura E. Overmier who, with his children and a number of other relatives and friends, are left to mourn their loss.

The immediate family consists of his widow, Laura, and the following children: Verda Heckler, Cecil M. Saul, Eva Bannister, John E. Saul, George M. Saul, Jr., William Burl Saul, Ervin E. Saul, Donald N. Saul, and Dorotha H. McCorkle. He also leaves 31 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 stepchildren, and one brother, Charles F. Saul.
