George M. Saul, 76, Toledo, died Monday in Big Rapids Hospital, Big Rapids, Michigan.
He was born in Richfield County on August 29, 1903, to George M. and Nettie (Mohler) Saul Sr. On July 3, 1922, he married Helen Leitner, and she survives.
The deceased retired in 1966 as a foreman with Interlake Iron, Toledo, where he had worked for 42 years.
Surviving, besides his wife, are three sons, George, Down-ington, Pennsylvania, Myron, Birmingham, Michigan, and Lawson, Lexington, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald, Toledo; and a sister, Mrs. A1 (Dortha) McCorkle, Liberty Center.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, the Reverend Mike Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Young’s Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Advanced Life Support Committee at Big Rapids, Michigan.
