Wilson Shannon Brown died at the age of 90 years. At the outbreak of the Civil War he enlisted at Tiffin as a volunteer in the Union Army and re-enlisted at Napoleon. He was a member of Company E, Second Ohio Heavy Artillery, was under fire in seven engagements, was taken prisoner Feb. 16, 1865 at Sweetwater, Tenn., served in Libby Prison and was honorably discharged on June 17, 1865.
