Camilla Henricks Row was born in Liberty Center, Ohio, February 6, 1875 and live here during her life until about six years ago, when she with her husband moved to Delta where she departed this life April 4, 1912, aged 37 years, 1 month and 28 days. She was educated in the Liberty schools and at the early age of 18, with the class of schoolmates, started in the field of life’s work as a teacher, at which she made a success, both as an instructor and as a friend to her pupils. But this seemed not to be Milla’s calling. In the second year of her work, while teaching in the Liberty schools, she was seized with rheumatism and forced to resign her work. From then until called to her reward she has been a constant but patient sufferer. None but the kind and loving husband who administered to her every want with never tiring hands for the past 13 years and in whose arms she spent her last few minutes on earth, can tell of her patient endurance. She always tried to look on the bright side of life and when a girl was a comfort and pleasure to her girlfriends, with whom she was a favorite; forgetting her troubles to help share theirs. Her highest hopes were of Heaven and heavenly things, although she did not fully consecrate herself to God until four years ago, when she was happily converted and one year later united with the U. B. Church of Delta. She was a noble Christian, a devoted wife and mother, a loving sister and a friend to all.
The morning of her death she said to her companion: “How beautiful, how beautiful, they are all over the room; those beautiful white wings. Can’t you see them?” And leaving a heavenly smile on her coutenance her spirit took its flight.
She was married to a A. E. Row February 23, 1898, who, with a little son and daughter, father, mother, one sister and one brother and hosts of relatives and friends are left to mourn their loss.
Funeral services were held at the Reformed church in Liberty Center Sunday at 2 o’clock, interment in Young’s Cemetery.
