Raymond S. Rickly, 64, West Maple Street, Liberty Center, died Saturday at Detwiler Hospital, Wauseon.
Born September 6, 1907, in Putnam County, he was the son of Samuel and Arietta (Hoffman) Rickly.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Liberty Center. A graduate of Pandora High School and Ohio State University, he was a vocational agriculture instructor for 35 years, the last 32 years at Liberty Center. He retired in June 1971.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; son John, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Rupp, Fayette, Mrs. Jerry (Ann) Smith, Bay Village; three brothers, Alva, Pandora, Oscar and Irvin, both of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Sutter, Walbridge, Mrs. Myron (Mary Ellen) Reichenbach, Pandora; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Reverend Joseph Burnett officiating. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center. The Henry County Firemen’s Association will hold memorial services at the mortuary today (Monday) at 7:30 p m.
