OBITUARY
Mrs. Grace Raymond, daughter of Richard and Melissa Thomas, was born June 3, 1882, a Liberty Center, O.
On May 6, 1893, at the early age of eleven she was baptized by Elder Burkholder and became a member of the Liberty Center Seventh-day Adventist Church and remained a loyal member until the time of her death.
On Feb. 7, 1899, she was united in holy wedlock to L. J. Raymond and the couple enjoyed sixty-one years and three months of wedded life together.
Although no children of their own came to bless this family, the unfortunate and those in need were given love and kindly service in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond.
All of Mrs. Raymond’s life had been spent in and around Liberty Center. She was very prominent in church work, holding various church offices and faithfully following her Lord and Master.
Saturday morning, April 23, she took ill and passed to her rest Sunday evening, May 1, 1960 at the Sharpe Rest Home in Napoleon at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 28 days.
Her faith never wavered and she will rest in peace until the voice of the Life-giver calls her forth in the Resurrection morning.
She leaves to mourn their loss, her loving husband, a foster daughter, Mrs. Monta Stackhouse; one brother, Arch Thomas, of Liberty Center; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
