Mrs. Nina Price, 82, died presumably Tuesday evening, at her farm home on Road 7 in Liberty Township. A neighbor who called on her Wednesday morning found that she had died in her sleep, apparently of a heart attack.
A native of the Fostoria area, she was born on November 24, 1888, the daughter of Nicholas and Martha Lauer. She was first married to Doyle Pierce and they resided in Toledo until he died in 1918. She was then united in marriage to John E. Price in 1922. They farmed the Price family homestead in Liberty Township and, after his death in 1952, Mrs. Price continued to live on the farm.
She is survived by three granddaughters, Mrs. Ronald (Nina) Christen and Miss Melissa Dannenberg, near Napoleon, and Mrs. Bruce (MarDel) Werder, of Archbold; and six great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Delbert (Martha) Dannenberg, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Wesche Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The Reverend Joseph Burnett, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Liberty Center, will officiate. Interment will be made in Young Cemetery in Liberty Center.
