Mary Elizabeth Houts, daughter of Daniel and Angeline Houts, was born| near Colton Ohio, March 9, 1868, and departed this life at the home of her daughter, February 9, 1932, aged 63 years and 11 months.
At a very early age she was converted and united with the M. E. church at Colton, Ohio, Later in life she transferred to the M. E. church at Liberty Center, Ohio, and remained a member until God called her to join the church above. She always tried to live a consistent Christian life and be true to her church and all its activities.
She was united in marriage to Mr. William Danford February 11, 1893 and to this union was born one daughter, Leah A., December 29, 1902. The husband and father passed away at Connelsville, Pa.
After Mr. Danford’s death she was united in marriage to Mr. James W. Pray and to this union was born one son, Morris C.
She has been in ill health since June 1931 and suffered greatly until she was called to the land where there is no suffering.
She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, one son, Morris, one daughter, Leah, three grandchildren, one sister and four brothers, besides other relatives and friends.
