LIBERTY CENTER - Victor R. Plassman Jr., 21, East Street, died Saturday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Henry County Coroner W. J. Stough.
He was born Jan. 1, 1957 in Wauseon to Victor Sr. and Carolyn (Patton) Plassman and married Rita Stennett on Jan. 14, 1978. He was an employee of Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon, and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Rita; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Plassman Sr., Liberty Center; a brother, Gene, and two sisters, Mrs. Mark (Penny) Snider and Candy Plassman, Liberty Center; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Plassman, Pettlsville, and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mabel Durham, Grand Rapids.
Friends may call today in the Croll-Wright Funeral Home. The body will lie in state in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church from noon Tuesday until service time at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Raymond Reinbolt will officiate and burial will be in Youngs Cemetery.
