Mrs. Mary Grace Pennock was born in Bellevue July 8, 1878, was married to George Pennock Oct. 28, 1899. To this union was born one child, Thyra Ramona, who died in infancy. Mrs. Pennock died at her home in Weston, Oct. 7, 1912.
She was a member of the Reformed church at Bellevue.
Mrs. Pennock’s late illness dates back to last May when she suffered a stroke of paralysis of the right side, affecting the power of speech and leaving her practically helpless since which time she has been confined to her bed. Death finally relieved her of her pain and suffering about 7:45 Monday evening. She was a member of the order of Eastern Star and Daughters of Rebekah, and a general favorite with all with whom she came in contact.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the husband and family in their hour of bereavement.
The funeral services were held at the home on Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock, the Rev. J. C. Mergler, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was made in Liberty Center.
