Irvin J. Parsons was born Feb. 20, 1885, and was the son of William H. and, Mary Jane (Clark) Parsons. He was born and spent his entire life in Liberty Center. He was one of eight children. His brother, William, who died in November, 1951 was his last relative of this family.
On. Feb. 14, 1917, he was united in marriage with Blanche Wright, and to this union were born five children: Emerson, Eldon, Marie, Mildred, and Howard.
He was a kind and affectionate father and companion and will be sadly missed.
In recent years he had been employed by the Pet Milk Co. of Delta, O.
He leaves to mourn his departure, the companion of these years of married life, and the children, all of whom live in Liberty Center, except Marie, now Mrs. Blaine Cunningham, of Oklahoma City, Okla. Mildred is now Mrs. Nelson Welch. Also eleven grandchildren and other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral services were conducted from the Walters’ funeral home Wednesday afternoon, March 25, at 2 o’clock. The officiating minister was Rev. David L. Eichar, pastor of the Methodist church.

Services Wednesday for Irvin Parsons
Irvin Parsons, 58, died Sunday at Detwiler hospital, Wauseon, after an illness of seven weeks. He was an employee of the Pet Milk Co. at Delta.
Surviving Mr. Parsons are his wife, Blanche; children, Emerson, Eldon, Howard, and Mrs. Mildred Welch, all of Liberty Center, and Mrs. Marie Cunningham, Oklahoma City, Okla., and ten grandchildren
Services were hold at the Walter funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. David Eichar officiating.
