Lyman 'Lee' Parker, 94 years, of Perrysburg, OH, died Thursday, July 6, 1995, peacefully, in his residence. Born in Defiance County on February 16, 1901, he was the son of Oscar Parker and Cara Hardy Parker.
For 45 years, he was employed by the Columbia Gas Company of Ohio, and was in charge of pressure regulation when he retired in 1965. Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman who was a former member of the Trilby Sportman's Club, and was also involved in Trilby Junior Softball and the Boy Scouts.
Surviving are his son, Bill (Mary) Parker of Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren, Thomas Lee (Peggy) Parker of Waterville, OH, and Mrs. Constance Lynn (Christopher) Kreft of Swanton; and 6 great-grandchildren. His wife, Mildred, preceded him in death in 1986.
Visitation will be held in the Wells Funeral Home, Waterville, Ohio, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 1995, in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center, OH, with Dr. James Stewart, officiating. The family suggests that tributes take the form of contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
