Evelyn Parker, 94, of Toledo died Thursday morning at Heartland of Perrysburg Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 17, 1904, in Liberty Center, she was the daughter of Charles and Rella (Weirich) Crawford. On May 4, 1924, she married Edward Parker, who preceded her in death on June 14, 1983.
She was a secretary to Fred Fuller in the law deparment of Owens-Illinois, retiring in 1966. She was a member of Second Church of Christ Scientist of Toledo and the Mother Church in Boston. She was also a member of the Maumee Valley Historical Society and the Ohio Historical Society.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Van Patten of Florida.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Desgrange; and three brothers, Charles, George and Robert Crawford.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be made to Edward Harvey Parker Spring Sports Complex, c/o of the Liberty Center Schools.
