Obituary:
Harvey Parker, 83, of 3530 River Road, Toledo, died Tuesday evening in the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo.
Born on September 16, 1899, in Jewell, he was the son of Oscar and Cara (Hardy) Parker. He was married on May 4, 1924, to Evelyn Crawford, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Lee of Waterville; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Faeth of Texas, Ohio, and Mrs. John (Delores) Gassney of Toledo.
Parker had worked at Toledo Scale for 45 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Lodge 518, F&AM, Liberty Center.
He also belonged to the Ft. Meigs Chapter 29 Royal Arch Mason of Toledo Council 33 Royal and Select Masons, and Commandery #7 Knights Templar.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with the Leader Harry Lincoln officiating. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
A Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, where visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorials may be to the Second Church of Christ, Scientists or the Liberty Center United Methodist Church.
