Mrs. Cara A. Parker, 96, Route 1, Liberty Center, died early Thursday morning in the Maumee Valley Hospital, Toledo.
Born February 15, 1875, in Defiance County, she was the daughter of Andrew and Emeline (Osborn) Hardy.
Her husband, Oscar E. Parker, preceded her in death in 1933, in addition to two daughters, Gladys Parker and Mrs. Frank (Donelda) Palmer.
Surviving are two sons, Edward Harvey Parker, L. Lee Parker, both of Toledo: daughters, Mrs. Bessie Faeth, Texas, Mrs. Deloris Gaffney, Toledo; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Porker was a member of the Second Church of Christ Scientists, Toledo, and the First Church of Christ Scientists. Boston, Massachusetts.
She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge, and an active member of the Gleaners Lodge, both of Liberty Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Walker Mortuary. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, and 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may he made to the donor’s choice.
