Obituary:
Frank L. Palmer, 79, formerly of Napoleon, died Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Florida Hospital, Orlando, Florida. He had been owner of the former Red Rooster Restaurant and Whitehouse Hamburgers in Napoleon.
Born December 11, 1903, in Liberty Center, he was the son of Sidney and Hattie (Daum) Palmer. His first wife, Donelda Parker, died in 1952. In 1953, he married Lorna Miller, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James of Napoleon, and Douglas of St. Cloud, Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Jean) Knepley, Sylvania, and Mrs. Dennis (Judy) Roehrig, Defiance; three brothers, Cloyce, Dale and Floyd, all of Orlando; a sister, Mrs. Alva Taylor of Orlando; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry; and two brothers, Homer and Sumner.
Graveside services will be held Monday, 2 p. m., at Youngs Cemetery in Liberty Center. The Reverend David Buegler, associate pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, will officiate.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Walker Mortuary. The family suggests any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Henry County unit.
