Randy Marvin Overmier, 50, of Napoleon died Monday evening at Medical University of Ohio Medical Center, Toledo.
Born Jan. 31, 1955, in Columbus, he was the son of Donelda (Ellinwood) Overmier of Napoleon and the late Dr. Richard W. Overmier.
He was a graduate of the University of Toledo and received his teaching certificate from Defiance College. A teacher for 18 years, he taught fourth and fifth grades at Liberty Center elementary and middle schools. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Napoleon. He collected antique postcards and memorabilia on 1955 Buicks.
He is survived by a brother, Gary (Elizabeth) of Liberty Center; three nieces, Margretta, Kathleen and Ellen Overmier, all of Liberty Center; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Pastor Linda Hedden of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Napoleon, officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
