Oneita B. Overmier, 92, of Liberty Center died Friday at the Henry County Hospital.
Born in Liberty Center March 7, 1898, she was the daughter of Bennett and Laura (LaBar) Kigar. On Aug. 3, 1918, she married Howard K. Overmier, and he preceded her in death Jan. 29, 1953.
She was a member of Liberty Center's United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women as well as World War II Mothers and Liberty Center's Rebekah and Pythian Sisters lodges.
Surviving are five sons, Marvin L. of New Port Richie, Fla., Dr. James B. of Leipsic, Robert H. of Archbold and Milton L. and Paul L., both of Liberty Center: 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Dr. Richard W.; five brothers James, Freddie, Scott, David and Arnold Kigar; six sisters, Alpha Shall, Nettie Poling, Bertha Mohler, Gertrude Johnston, Mary Bisher and Gladys Bowers; and a great-grandson, Ryan Engler.
Services were held this morning in the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center with Rev. Jerry Lewis officiating. Interment followed in Youngs Cemetery.
