NAPOLEON, O. - Mrs. Mertie M. Orme, 88, former owner of the former Orme Jewelry Store here, died Saturday in Heller Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Orme and her late husband, Andrew, owned the jewelry store, which was located on North Perry Street, from 1900 until the mid 1940s. She lived in Napoleon until five years ago, when she became a resident of the Oak Grove Nursing Home, Deshler. Mrs. Orme was past worthy matron of Napoleon Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Sorosis Literary Club, and the Napoleon Garden Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Wilda Glick and sister, Mrs. Neva Bichan.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Walker Mortuary.
