Obituary:
Royce (Dick) Mohler, 75, of Liberty Center, died this morning at Flower Hospital, Sylvania.
Born May 25, 1908, in Henry County, he was the son of Zerb and Imo (Overmier) Mohler. He married Lottie Woodward on January 27, 1932, and she survives.
Mr. Mohler was a material handler and gap setter for Champion Spark Plug, Toledo, and he retired in 1970. He was a member of Harrison Gleaners, a former member of the Liberty Center Volunteer Fire Department and a former member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Liberty Center.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Junior of Napoleon, and Duane of Curtis, Michigan; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Bittinger, Liberty Center; a brother, Vern Weinert of Wolverine, Michigan; seven sisters, Mrs. Lyman (Helen) Sherman and Mrs. Ward (Betty) Tilly, both of Wolverine; Mrs. Ruth Dunmire, Toledo; Mrs. Edna Thompson, Montpelier; Mrs. Joann Farison, Toledo; Mrs. Garnett Faunt and Rachel, both of the State of Florida; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center. The Reverend Philip Parks of Liberty Center Wesleyan Church will officiate, and burial will be in Youngs Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 7 p.m. tonight or Wednesday afternoon and evening. Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society.
