Dr. Robert B. Myers, 78, of Ft. Myers. Fla., formerly of Liberty Center, and Wellington, died Sept. 17.
He was the son of the late and Bernice Myers.
Mr. Myers was a graduate of the University of Toledo and the Louisville University School of Dentistry. He was a dentist for the State of Kentucky Public Health Service for two years, and established a private practice in Wellington in 1948.
He was a 30 year member of the army reserve in Cleveland, where he held the position of colonel. Mr. Myers was called to active duty in Alaska at Ft. Richardson and served from 1952 to 1954. He retired to Ft. Myers, Fla. in 1984.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; daughters, Christine Wieland, and Rebecca Scott; a brother, Don Myers, of Liberty Center; a sister, Jean Hasselschwert, of Wauseon; two granddaughters; two grandsons: and two great-grandsons.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Joanne Riemund.
A memorial service will be held in Liberty Center on Oct. 16 at 11 a.m.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice.
