William Mueller, 69, familiarly known in and about Liberty Center, passed away Tueday morning at St. Vincent’s Hospital where he had been a patient since last Saturday morning.
Mr. Mueller was a mason by trade and his most recent work was on the Legion Hall in Liberty Center. He was a member of the American Legion Post, the VFW, the Volunteer Fire Department and the IOOF Lodge of Liberty Center.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; a daughter, Mrs. R. B. (Norma) Lanker, of Columbus, O.; and son, Marvin, of Liberty Center. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Edith Haack, of Toledo.
Funeral services will be from Walter’s Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m., with David L. Eichar, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Young Cemetery.

LIBERTY CENTER, O., Sept. 17 - William Mueller, 69, of Liberty Center, died Tuesday in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Toledo.
Born in rural Lucas County, Mr. Mueller lived in Liberty Center since he was 3. He was a brick mason, a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion, VFW, volunteer fire department and IOOF.
Surviving are his wife, Clara; daughter, Mrs. Norma Lanker, Columbus; son, Marvin, Liberty Center; sister, Mrs. Edith Haack, Toledo, and three grandchildren.
The Rev. David L. Eichar will conduct services at 2 p.m. Friday in the Walter Mortuary with burial in Young Cemetery.
