Lorena Odell, second daughter of Lyman and Mary (Viers) Odell, was born in Fulton county, Ohio, Sep. 17, 1857, and died at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minn., Oct. 13, 1915, aged 587 years and 26 days.

She was united in marriage with Samuel L. Mires in 1876, at Liberty Center, O., by Justice Benjamin High. To this union were born two children, a daughter, who died in infancy, and a son, James L., who with the husband, survives her.
