O. R. Minnich, son of Jacob Minnich and his wife, Josephine (nee Trexler) Minnich, was born June 12, 1880, in Liberty township, Henry county, O., and passed away Jan. 9, 1945, at his home in Liberty Center, having attained the age of 64 years, 6 months and 27 days.
On May 20, 1901, he was united in marriage to Anna Mae Wolfe, who passed away June 3, 1927. The chidren left to mourn their father are: Three sons and four daughters, Melvin M., of Napoleon; Marion, of Continental, O.; Theodore O., of Ft. Benning, Ga.; Mrs Doris Stratton of Greensboro, Md; Mrs. Annabelle Barnum of Stryker, O.; Mrs. Roslyn Hartings of Coldwater, O., and Norma Mae Minnich, of Liberty Center. Two daughters, Bonita and Wanita, preceded their parents in death. Also surviving are two brothers, A. J. and Lloyd Minnich, both of Liberty Center, eleven grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He spent his entire life in and near Liberty Center, where he followed his trade of barbering for the past 35 years or more. He was a kind and loving father and will be sadly missed by his children and friends.
