Josephine Manerva Trexler was born in Seneca county, Ohio, Jan. 27, 1852, and died at her home in Liberty Center, Ohio, Oct. 14, 1912, aged 60 years, 8 months and 17 days. She was married to Jacob Minnich at Tiffin, Ohio, July 4th, 1872. To this union were born three sons, O. R., A. J., and Lloyd. They moved from Tiffin to Wauseon in 1873, and to Liberty Center in 1891.
Mrs. Minnich united with the Reformed church 20 years ago, and was a faithful member of the same until the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her departure, husband, brother, three sons and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Minnich had been a great sufferer for about two years. She underwent three operations, but relief was not to be found in this world. She bore her long-suffering with Christian fortitude, and was ready and well prepared to go before the Judge of judges. She was a good wife, a good mother, the good neighbor, a good woman.
Funeral services were held at the Reformed Church Thursday, October 17 conducted by Rev. Barron and the body laid to rest in Young’s cemetery.
