Wayne Miller, 80, of Liberty Center died Saturday at the Medical College of Ohio Hospital in Toledo.
Born April 3, 1916, in Napoleon, he was the son of Laurence and Ellen (Garver) Miller. On Oct. 5, 1940, he married Treva Liddle, who survives.
He was a self-employed farmer and also drove truck for McCully Egg Co., B.A. Miller Trucking Co. and Creager Paving. He also drove school buses for the Liberty Center Schools. He was a member of the Gilbert-Baughman Post #492 of the American Legion in Liberty Center and was a past commander. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He is also survived by two sons, Robert of Liberty Center and Kenneth of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Lloyd of Liberty Center; and a grandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center, Pastor David Dyck and Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center, where military services will be conducted by the American Legion.
Visitation will be at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today and after 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
