Death, that monster that robs us of our loved ones, that causes serious, solemn thoughts to possess our minds, has again entered our midst and claimed for his own one of many virtues.
It was on January 6, 1896, that Mettie, only daughter of Thomas F. and Elizabeth Thompson, saw the light ot this world in their home in Liberty Center, O., where she resided until about three years ago.
Mettia was united in marriage with Charles I. Miller, August 7, 1915. A short time after, they located at West Unity, where they resided until last year when they moved to Stryker, at which place Mettia was called home January 26, 1920, at the age of 21 years and 20 days.
While at West unity deceased united with the M. E. church and was a faithful member. She was a lady of most winning traits of character, kind and affectionate in disposition which won her many friends wherever she went. She will be greatly and sadly missed in the home and in the communities in which she lived. She leaves a devoted husband, an only brother, Ray R., of Massillon, O., and a host of relatives end friends to mourn her early departure.
