Helen Louise Miller was born in Defiance, Ohio, August 14, 1851, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. Harriman, New York City, November 3, 1923.
At the age of four years she moved with the family to Henry county and here she spent the remainder of her life with the exception of the last seven months, which she spent with her daughter.
The last few months of her life were full of suffering, but it was a joy and a pleasure to be with her and take care of her because of her sunny disposition. Always a smile and pleasant word for every one; ready and anxious to go, still waiting patiently until the call should come.
She was a member of the Liberty Center Methodist Episcopal church for 45 years.
She is survived by five children, three daughters and two sons, one brother and one sister.
