Daniel Cyrus Miller was born in Allentown, Penna., March 3, 1862. He left this life at his home in Liberty Center, Ohio, February 19, 1936, aged 73 years, 11 months and 16 days.
April 1, 1863, when barely past one year of age, his father, Tilghman Miller, brought his family to Tiffin, Ohio. The family, consisting of wife, four sons and two daughters, moved to Henry county the following August and located on the Serrick farm one and one-half miles west of this place. Mr. Miller spent practically his entire life in this community as one of its honorable citizens.
He was baptized in infancy by the Rev. J. J. Dubbs.
November 17, 1882, Mr. Miller was united in marriage with Miss Alice Clifton.
He is survived by his wife, their son, Emmett, one brother, Alfred Miller, one sister, Mrs. Keturah Laver, many nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Services were held from the late residence in Liberty Center, Friday afternoon, February 21. Interment was made in Young’s cemetery.
