Burdette A. Miller, 53, Liberty Center, was dead on arrival at Heller Memorial Hospital, Napoleon, late Friday evening.
He was the owner of B. A. Miller and Son Trucking Center, near Liberty Center. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts in Liberty Center, Moose and Elks Lodges in Napoleon, Napoleon Disabled American Veterans and the Liberty Center Boosters’ Club.
He was born June 8,1922, in Fulton County, the son of Wilmer and Millis (Fouty) Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Norma; four sons, Terry, Randy, Rick and Thomas, all of Liberty Center; a daughter, Cheryl, Liberty Center; and two brothers, Charles, Liberty Center, and Paul, Wauseon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Reverend Joseph Burnett of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church officiating.
Graveside rites will be conducted by the Liberty Center American Legion and VFW posts at Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation is anytime today at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Henry County Heart Association.
