Forest Earl Metcalf was born on June 4, 1892 in Henry County, near Napoleon, where he lived on a farm until about the age of 16, since which time he has been out making his own way in the world by his own industry.
On April 29, 1915 he was united in marriage with Miss Estella Fay Heft of Liberty Center, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Metcalf moved to Wauseon last March where they have resided until he was called away, Saturday morning, January 31, at the age of 27 years 7 months and 27 days.
Mr. Metcalf leaves a loving wife, father, mother, four brothers one sister and a large circle of warm friends who feel that a valuable friend and loving companion has gone.
Mr. Metcalf was highly spoken of by those who knew him; as a hard-working, industrious, honorable man and a good, true, congenial friend. He was a member of the M. W. A., Number 7902, of Wauseon, also of A. O. O. G. of liberty Center.
Card of thanks signed by Mrs. F. E. Metcalf, Mr. and Mrs. Will Metcalf, and Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Heft, brothers and sisters.
