Mrs. Lucille McMaster, 57, of Liberty Center, passed away at 9:50 a.m. Saturday at Maumee Valley Hospital, Toledo. She had undergone cranial surgery twice for treatment of injuries received in an automobile accident which occurred Nov. 16 on Rt. 2 near the Fulton-Lucas County Line.
At the time of the accident she was on her way to work as a medical secretary at Maumee Valley Hospital, a position she had begun only a few days previously, after having served in a similar capacity for eight years at Mercy Hospital in Toledo.
She is survived by her husband, Rolland; four sons, Duane, Russell, and Gary, all of Liberty Center, and John, of Concord, New Hampshire; two daughters, Mrs. Rolla Mires of Findlay, and Mrs. Estaline Kimerer of Colton; seven grandchildren; one brother, Donald Rahrig, of Toledo, and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Watson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Miriam Conner of Toledo.
The McMasters have lived in Liberty Center since 1943, having previously resided in Elmore. Mrs. McMaster was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Liberty Center White Shrine of Jerusalem, True Kindred and Order of the Amaranth of Toledo.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Wesche Funeral Home in Napoleon with the Rev. S. S. Feldmann. pastor of Trinity Baptist Church of Toledo, officiating. Interment was in Young Cemetery.
