Victor L. McCurdy, 83, of Toledo and formerly of Liberty Center died Wednesday at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.
Born in McClure on July 15, 1909, he was the son of William O. and Grace (Harmon) McCurdy. He married Frances O. Lashuay who preceded him in death in 1956. On Aug. 30, 1957, he married Anna Tiddock who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann Goldsmith of Hillsdale, Mich., and Ardith Myers of Liberty Center; a stepson, Robert J. (Rose) Marquardt of Toledo; two stepdaughters, Beverly Opperman of Perrysburg and Lois Bricker of Toledo; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the First Alliance Church of Toledo and a volunteer at the Cherry Street Mission. He also was a member of the Three L's Bible Class. He worked for a number of years as the maintenance foreman at the Holiday Inn West.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home located at 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd., Pastor David N. Clark officiating. Graveside services will be held at approximately 11 a.m. at Youngs Cemetery in Liberty Center. Interment will follow.
Visitation will be at the funeral home today after 2 p.m.
The family requests memorials be made to the First Alliance Church or the Cherry Street Mission.
